Deleted scenes to Show up on DVD and Blu-ray versions of Star Wars: The Force Awakens

It won’t be too long now until Star Wars: The Force Awakes ends up at cinemas (as unfortunately, I am told, it’s to); yet by the end of cinema viewing comes DVD and Blu-ray variants, collectors variants, commentary and obviously, deleted scenes.

Unfortunately for diehard Star Wars lovers, Director, J.J. Abrams has verified the film won’t be receiving a plethora of additional footage. To ease that pain nonetheless, there will be deleted scenes that may add at   least an additional half an hour of footage to the already two hour 16 minute attribute.

So what this means for you is that there won’t be the elongated version that youhoped and’ve theorized for, but there will be a range of scenes for you to feast on. Prior to editing, the initial film ran near 3 hours, Abrams informed    Entertainment Weekly.

I cannot wait to have The Force Awakens in your home, available to see in Blu-ray quality again and again, until it a component of my everyday ritual. Eat, Star Wars, sleep, replicate.
